The Northern Wisconsin Heritage Connection is a "networking" organization whose goals are to celebrate and preserve the cultural history of northern Wisconsin by:

Promoting northern Wisconsin historical societies, cultural resources, and regional attractions;
Generating, organizing, and facilitating historical and cultural events, heritage programs, and projects;
Stimulating efforts to preserve the cultural and built history of northern Wisconsin;
Providing a network of support for regional historical organizations.

The NWHC is located in the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center (NGLVC www.nglvc.org), located 2.5 miles west of Ashland, WI.

NGLVC Hours – 7 days per week:
Summer: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Winter: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
